Micro Current Neurofeedback

Our brains are remarkable in their ability to adapt and learn, often through the formation of habits and associations. As we encounter new experiences, recall past events, and respond emotionally to different stimuli, the brain forms neural shortcuts to help us navigate life more efficiently. However, when we experience trauma or are repeatedly exposed to stress, our brains can become locked into patterns of emotional and physiological responses—most commonly, states of fight, flight, or freeze.

This learned response is part of a process called neuroplasticity, which refers to the brain’s capacity to form new neural connections throughout life. Neuroplasticity is what makes change and healing possible—but it also means that repeated stress, trauma, or emotional dysregulation can reinforce unhelpful patterns over time. In cases like these, the brain may become “stuck,” continually defaulting to reactive states that hinder emotional balance, focus, and calm.

While individual experiences vary, many clients have found significant relief from conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and migraines through the use of IASIS Micro Current Neurofeedback. Still, results cannot be guaranteed, and MCN should not be viewed as a cure. Instead, it’s a powerful tool that, when paired with counseling, becomes a dynamic and effective means of achieving lasting change. This combination allows the brain to become more receptive to new insights, making it easier to engage with therapy and adopt healthier patterns of thinking and behavior.

We invite you to listen to the testimonials below from clients who have experienced meaningful transformation through MCN!

Micro Current Neurofeedback (MCN) is a non-invasive, non-pharmaceutical treatment designed to disrupt these entrenched patterns and gently guide the brain back into balance. Using extremely low-level electrical currents, MCN stimulates the brain in a way that activates the parasympathetic nervous system—the part of the brain responsible for rest and relaxation. This in turn helps to quiet the sympathetic nervous system, which governs our stress and threat responses.

Classified by the FDA as a medical relaxation device, MCN is scientifically recognized for its ability to promote a calmer, more regulated state of mind. Yet its most powerful impact lies in its support of neuroplasticity. By helping the brain disengage from chronic stress responses, MCN fosters the conditions necessary for new, healthier patterns to form.

Many clients report improvements in sleep, mood, and clarity of thought following MCN sessions. Improved sleep, in particular, enhances the brain’s natural healing processes, including the deep-stage sleep cycle during which cerebrospinal fluid cleanses and restores brain tissue. It’s important to note that MCN does not "heal" the brain directly, but rather supports the brain’s own healing mechanisms—mechanisms that may have been suppressed due to prolonged anxiety, depression, or trauma.
